The Advanced Buteyko Institute does not share users' personal information with third parties. We only use it to enable users to login to the app and help our instructors give students personalized instruction, advice and support.
Data Retention
We retain the personal information associated with your account — your name, email address, telephone number, address, health and fitness data, your account addresses on voice and video communication apps, and your breathing exercise data (dates, times, exercise types, breathing data and saved remarks) — for as long as your account remains open, so that you and your Buteyko instructor can continue to track your progress. When your account is deleted, all of this data is deleted along with it. The only data we keep after deletion is non-personally-identifiable data regarding the performance of the app, such as diagnostics and crash logs, and any purchase records we retain for tax and accounting purposes for up to 7 years.
Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time, either in the Buteyko Pro app or on the website. In the Buteyko Pro app: open the account page, press the "DELETE ACCOUNT" button, then press "DELETE MY ACCOUNT". On the website: log in to your account at www.advancedbuteyko.com, then in the sidebar of the member area, under "Account", click "Delete Account" and press the "DELETE ACCOUNT" button. In both cases we then send you an automated email; click the confirmation link in that email to confirm your request. We will delete your account and all associated information within 30 days of your confirmed request. Step-by-step instructions with screenshots are on our Account Deletion page.
